With prices of this blue chip at historically low levels this represents a fantastic opportunity. Resistant to the cyclical downturn, Duke should produce plenty of free cash to support what represents a huge yield given the current share price.

Price-To-Book ratio of 1.15 and consistant profitability guarantuees that the stock will probably stay above $17, so down-side is limited.

Growth rate is limited but DUK has plans to build new coal/nuclear power plants.
