First stock I ever bought. I bought DVN a couple of years ago after reading Steven Loeb's book on 200 dollar Oil. Best in breed Natural Gas is what he said.....

2 years later I'm up 72%. Yeah, that'll work for me....

DVN and Chesapeake are as good a plays as you can get when it comes to independent Nattie Gas.

Hard to believe that this pitch is the top bull pitch.... I better try a bit harder on this one.

Devon continues to break milestones. In April they had extracted more then 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas from their Barnett shale properties alone.... That represented them being 21 months ahead of schedule. They continue to add to their proved reserves as well.

Earlier I mentioned CHK as well. I own both stocks, but I still have to say that DVN looks like the better value.... and it may even be positioned for better growth.... Do youself a favor, and buy both!
