The near frenzy in China to get educated (or for parents to load up their kids on education) is following the path established in Hong Kong and other Chinese diaspora communities. As some wise Chinese sage could have said: ‘Education is the only thing that the state can not take away from you’.

EDU is top dog and the other players only help to build up the awareness for private education. They also help by establishing a reference against which EDU can be benchmarked by the zillion or so ‘wanna speak English’ kids out there.

EDU’s founder/CEO is an educator as well as sharp elbowed, smart Chinese business man succeeding splendidly in China.
