Ok, get real. Kodak created a monster Blue Chip company many many years ago with a highly profitable monopoly on FILM. Well, that's gone now and they are in the commodity business, trying to hawk digital cameras. How do you go from a business with one Japanese competitor (Fuji) to a highly competitive business with maybe 10-15 major high tech well-capitalized competitors, many of whom have been in the top end of the camera business for ages??? Not very easily. Kodak may occasionally show a small quarterly profit, but eventually the competition will eat their lunch. This is a whole new ballgame and my prediction is that Kodak will file Chapter 11 in 2 years, when the well runs dry. Shades of Polaroid!
