Camera/Printer Technolgies - It is unfortunate that they are playing catch-up to the digital revolution. When I was a kid if you weren't buying Kodak, you were buying cheep film. Eastman Kodak is now in the Printer/Digital Camera business. One thing people hate about inkjets is the cost of ink. As printers get higher and higher quality the ink consumption goes up. Kodak has a strategy where they are selling more expensive printers but cheeper ink, much the opposite of the major producers HP and Lexmark. I recently bought a new HP printer for about $40. It's a multifunction scanner/printer and the software is agrivating to use. When I'm in the market again I may check out Kodak. I may feel a short term pinch here, but I think the company has reversed its downward trend long term. I'm trying to find more companies that are solid yet beat down. This guy may go green tomorrow or he may wait a year or so. Either way I'm in.
