Technology stocks are historically strong in the latter half of the year. EMC is a stalwart in a backbone IT industry. In addition, its large ownership of the new VM Ware IPO will drive the evals higher. This rating should have gone in Friday before the brouhaha over the IPO but I think there is still upside to be had here. Likely to be a sell-off immediately after the IPO but longer term the upside will win out.
