Fisher Investments - A Stock for Eco-Nuts Ken Fisher 06.16.08The Chilean firm Enersis (nyse: ENI - news - people ) (18, ENI) is the largest private-sector electricity generator in South America, serving Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia. Generation is 40% of its revenue; electricity distribution is the rest. As South America modernizes and develops, Enersis will grow. It's controlled and majority-owned by Spain's giant utility Endesa (nyse: ELE - news - people ), which I've recommended many times over the decades. So you know it will be well run. At 1.4 times annual revenue and 19 times likely 2008 earnings, and with a 2.4% dividend, it's more than cheap enough for a nicely growing firm. The American Depositary Receipts for it trade on the New York Stock Exchange. Its market cap is $12 billion.
