Europe is dying, Latin America, Africa and the middle east haven't shown true entrepreneurial consistency to date. Russia is too oppressive for business to succeed long-term. I'm not sure where Japan is heading. The rest of Asia, despite corruption problems, has a culture well-suited to entrepreneurial and capitalistic expansion. Put your emerging market money here.

This isn't really an "Asia" ETF, despite its name. EPP is about 2/3 Australia, with some Hong Kong and Singapore sprinkled in.





For a true "Asia without Japan" ETF, you really want something like GMF, which includes China, India, Taiwan, and Malaysia.

Note how closely EPP tracks to Australia (EWA):
