Embraer is ideally positioned to take advantage of the growing popularity of smaller jets due to a combination of speed and fuel efficiency. It takes fewer passengers to fill them up and they do not have to be as full to turn a profit for operators....

Pilots call these the jungle jets. Very efficiently run company that makes fuel-efficient short-haul aircraft. As airline fleets age, they will replace planes with these.

The airline industry is starting to get healthy and putting in orders for new planes. Embraer have themselves some large niches and a backlog to keep them pumping out the cash at increasing rates for the forseeable future.

ERJ is a Brazilian jet maker, makes regional and corporate jets. Everytime I fly a small plane, it is an Embraer. They are growing market share and have much better growth rate than Boeing and Airbus.

Brazil is finally going to live up to the hype relating to the brightness of it's economic future. ERJ will start making serious inroads into Airbus and Boeing market share in 5-7 years.

The low cost manufacturer of smaller jet planes, both executive jets and airline regional jets. With fuel costs being what they are, airlines need lighter more efficient planes than half full Boeing 737s and Airbus 319s on smaller routes...
