People on the outside of the video game industry have no idea how games are taking over even the agerage joes life. The industry is just getting huge. With EA your going to make your usual money with Tiger, Madden, NBA Live, NHL, NCAA football/basketball FIFA, Need for Speed. However with its expanding lineup of games there is a ton of money to be made. Some examples are: The Orange Box (Half Life 2 plus expansions) sold over 6 million pc copies now coming to x360 and ps3. Skate the wildly popular new skateboarding game that uses the joystick instead of pressing buttons. SimCity and the new My Sims are love by all ages and sexes. Bioware's Mass Effect, Hellgate London, Dead Space (cover of this months Game Informer) The Simpsons game, Battlefield 2 the complete collection, Mercenaries 2, Need for Speed, Burnout. Plus more, and games for cell phones. While those titles should be enough the big $ maker will be rock band. Rock band will make EA money by not just selling the game, but the extra songs that will be on Xbox live and Sony's online system. The returns over the next few years are going to be great. People need to not worry about the economy because the gamers always will find money for that game they want.
