I know several people who play the online Pogo games, and really enjoy it. Advertising revenue, the upcoming Simpson's game, and the addition of "Club Pogo" to skip ads should provide a solid revenue stream.

Might take a hit when people start talking about Halo 3 taking away sales from EA, but I believe that ERTS is catering to the larger audience of non-hardcore gamers.
