I am not a regular gamer, but my impression is that winners in this field do so based on innovative new games that capture consumers in the "experience". EA missed the biggest platform shift in years, the Wii, and they continue to rely on old sports titles. The kids I talk to are not hot on EA games, and I dont think EA can acquire their way to regaining an innovative culture.
