It will take a while, money will be made and lost on the way, but ESLR will ride the solar wave with others. It will probably take some breakthrough in technology. Probably, maybe, a while... who knows when. We can just hope to pull away from the crude oil teet.

www.ecologicinvestor.com says EVERGREEN SOLAR's cells are at 10 -12% conversion efficiency. That sucks It's going to take a major breakthrough in technology and a major cost cut for it to be easy and cheep for a PV system to meet 100% of your homes energy needs. Over a 40-year life, PV power costs roughly 18 cents per kWh, compared with conventional electricity that costs approximately 7 cents per kWh. This PV energy costs much more than you are currently paying for electricity—but perhaps less than what you will pay 20 years from now. Who knows EVERGREEN SOLAR and my pick SUNPOWER may be like Exxon 20 years from know.............................So I'm on the SOLAR BANDWAGON. F.Y.I Most gasoline fueled internal combustion engines, even when aided with turbochargers and stock efficiency aids, have a mechanical efficiency of about 20%
