I added shares of this to my real life portfolio. Its had a good run recently, but I stronly believe it still has legs for the next 5+ years. This one will continue to grow wonderfully along with China. Good Asian play and good tech play.

South Korea has a booming economy right now- look at the multi-year annualized return of this ETF. The top 10 holdings are a who's who of Korean stocks, and this is an excellent avenue to gain exposure in southern asia.

Exports to Asia, Europe, are favorable. Stronger Won however is not so well for exports to U.S., but US ties are good and any strengthening in the dollar will be even better news for the "Krazy Korean Kospi."

South Korea fall behind China, India and Brazil last year when North Korea conducted nuclear test. Now, with that news almost 9 months old and North Korea willing to negotiate it's nuclear ambitition, it's right time to buy EWY to hold for a year.

Not really an emerging market anymore. Well poised to expand into China, a process which has already begun. Continuing their expansion into Indian and US markets as well.
