EXEL is building a strong pipeline in Cancer, diabetic nephropathy and other drugs. Two of the nine drugs in its pipeline are in the last stage of research and are showing strong clinical data that point out high probability of success of both. In addition its partnership with GlaxoSmithKline improve the cash flow needed for R&D and then when the drugs reach the market EXEL will receive a long and steady chain of royalties
