drybulk the one of the stupidest mania since the the dot com bubble“It was surreal. When someone asked why he was doing the deal, here–now, he actually said, basically, ‘Because Americans are the dumbest investors around, and there’s lots of liquidity in this market.’”http://www.weedenco.com/welling/archive/sb/v07i04sblogo.asp

Its only trading 6x future earnings.. not even close to the 50-60x that dot com companies were trading at. Real earnings are driving these stocks, not speculation.

Look at the debt behind these companies. Most of these "dry bulk shippers" are leveraged garbage.

Utility and telecom companies are higly levereaged as well. Its the type of buisness that requires you to be leveraged.

IMO, these stocks are in a bubble, run up by funds, who like to sell the options, most of which expire worthless. Once the "enthusiasm" aka stupidity runs out. Most of these stocks will return to single digits, like they were 2-3 years ago.lol telecoms and shipping, require leverage? So did almost every other bubble that popped.Just my opinion....
