Owners of Expedia and Hotels.com... with the economy picking up, people will travel more. They have a nice business model with minimal overhead.
The problem with minimal overhead is that customer service tends to be terrible. My own experience with Expedia customer service has left me shocked. In a day and age where the IRS and Verizon provide horrid customer service... Expedia manages to lower the bar... several feet. Yes Verizon and the IRS bring in lots of money by virtue of their monopolies of one sort or another... Expedia however competes in the free market. I suspect as more and more stories get out they will quickly lose market share. I can't believe how many horror stories I find on them online now that I look. I wish you luck.
