After the sale of Jaguar/Land Rover, Ford is in a stratigic position to stage a strong turn-around. I belive over the next 5 years, with new product development and build quality increases, Ford will begin to make strong profits.

I tend to agree with you. The $8.50 (or so) tender offer being currently proposed doesn't seem like a wise move.
