Ford has made all its cutbacks, redisigned the cars, made them safer, the quality of the car is back better then ever, with Mullally at the helm he has made a great turnaround happen sooner then later.I have all the confidence in the world that this automotive company will rebound very soon. The Ford products are not only safer they are top quality well made vehicles. "Drive One" love the new slogan, I drive one and believe that the true American people of this country should stick to the American car companies and drive one too. They will help this country to get out of the mess that the American's chose to screw up when they lost their loyalty for the American car companies and put this country in more jeopardy. So come on and stand by the USA.

I absolutly love Ford right now. With the current gas prices I am reminded of the 70's and the foriegn car companies as they came in with cheaper priced cars that got better gas milage. With the dollar weaker that is not going to happen here as the importers are getting whacked (yeah) as they send in the cars with their currency and get paid with a weak dollar. Bottom line is that Ford has made an amazing turnaround with models and gas mileage and the addition of SYNC by microsoft. Ford has positioned themselves where as GM and the Chysler have to play catchup and we know what happens when Ford leads the way. Look at the sales of Ford trucks as GM and Chrysler have done hardly anything to dent into Ford's bottomline truck sales.

Many of the 'imports' you talk about are actually made in the USA. GM play catch up to Ford??? Look at international sales... Ford is still in big trouble... Partnering with Microsoft! What a great move... Microsoft is another 'winner'! At least Microsoft will be around in a few years.

How is Ford partnering with Microsoft!?!?I still think there is a lot of upside to this stock with the turnaround. I'm up 40% on it in CAPs and I think its gonna go a lot higher.

I agree with you 100%... I was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. Many family members worked for Ford. The company was and continues to be a great organization with a concious. Ford has always emphasized innovation, pleasing it's customers and employees, and doing the right thing for our country and mankind in general. I owe many of the values that have brought me happiness and success to my roots in "Ford town" in Michigan. I can't believe that Americans are not supporting our own workers and industries, even when they consistently deliver a competetive and high quality product. As the economy deteriorates, our citizens may finally wake up and realize the part consumers play in making a country great.
