I feel that the company will be able to overcome most all it's financial problems and again become a more viable company.

Are you foreseeing a bit of a pullback as the stk is up over 15% since end of June?

I have a hunch that in the end, Ford will probably be taken private at a small premium to current price levels. Their debt levels are very high and the stock is up on momentum and speculation.

Yes, but not anytime soon.. Look for buying in low 6's to 5's.. Im guessing by 2007 we may see high 7's again.. Maybe sooner, all depends on news and how the company handles it self in the eyes of investors.

This idea may be way out in left field but I would not be surprised to hear of an "alliance" or merger between GM and Ford since they are already jointly developing and building the six speed automatic transmission that both are using. They could also eliminate a lot of overlapping parts and real estate. And whats with Ford buying the Rover name from BMW?

I agree with you, but not in the short term. I think the F-150s will lose out to GM & Toyota until the F series is redesigned. Their near term pipeline issues will cause them to suffer more before it gets better.F will probably hit $15 in 2008 or 2009 though.
