Horrible sales. Declining market share. Over-dependence on gas-guzzlers. Doesn't sound like a pick, does it? But, it's all priced in.
Of course, that's no reason to pick Ford if it doesn't come out of the hole in one piece. But, I am betting on that it will. Big reason - at the end of the day, it's a "family owned" business. There's more than just money at stake. They will fight to keep the engine running hard. Now, the Boeing turnaround hero is at helm; Ford is being very public about accepting its shortcomings and that's very good news. I am sure that within 3-5 years they will come alive and kicking.
