I believe FoMoCo has been overanalyzed, and made scapegoat for the sake of journalistic cliches like "industrial decay" or "America's former predominance in [whatever]." Looking at the financials, one could make a case for purchasing F as a contrari...

"Have you driven a Ford lately" is the current slogan for this company. Translation: "Yeah, we know we have been producing poor quality cars over the past decades, but we really have improved." I nominate this slogan for the worst advertising pitch o...

Ford will return to profitability. And when they do they will command a P/E ratio that will cause anyone who didn't load up at $8/share to sit down and cry.

Ford just doesn't have the vision to make it in the automobile world. Their designs and plans are 10 years behind the competition. It is a sad thing to watch, but I don't see things getting any better for them any time soon.

It takes a long time to turn a big ship around, and I'm not convinced that they have managed this at Ford. I will change my mind once I see them putting up decent cars on the street AND when their street reputation starts to improve.

Long term I see Ford and GM as good buys. They are restructuring now while Toyota (their only threat) is already slowing down expansion. Cannot predict the peak of their drop but would recommend getting onboard by end of 2008.

With the introduction of the new Ford SYNC into the market place and their partnership with MSFT in this venture i think that Ford is really making some moves to differentiate their product. The union negotiations went better then anticipated, and qu...

I own a car dealership. I think Ford is finally putting some products on the road that will bring consumers into their dealerships. I believe the stock has 12 in it's sights if it has 2 good quarters between now and the end of next year.
