We just need to hang in there
This is the sentiment among people bullish on facebook, "hang in there." Hang in there for what? If Facebook has some reassuring business ideas, where are they? What they're doing right now doesn't justify the price, which carries a 100+ P/E ratio as I write this.
The company line is something like: "We'll figure out how to monetize our users more efficiently, and we'll continue to grow our user base!" Sounds good, how? The latest news about all the fake clicks seems to imply that they're about to get much *less* efficient as they focus their dev resources (and maybe get stuck in a class action lawsuit) over this issue, which by the way, is a massive problem.
Facebook sells clicks. When most of those clicks are from bots, what is that worth? I think the poo has just hit the fan here. It hasn't yet splattered all over the room, but it's on its way.
