I bought in at $29 and it's chugging along. I just hope they stop killing workers at the mines.

Looks like FCX got a pre-earnings bounce from the price of gold and may go a little further above 30/shr since 2nd quarter
was really above most expectations; similar thing happened to CLF after their Q1 was better than expected but settled back down. I still think this oil move was a belated desire to be in a more steadily priced commodity that may be too little, too late even if it did help this quarter to be decent. If FCX is unable to successfully manage oil exploration, they will be in a very bad way since they payed a high price for PXP and McMoran. THX
