Fedex's last stock split came back in 1998 this stock has outperformed the S&P almost the entire time and is due for a stock split as well, reasserting itself as the #1 carrier stock of choice.

I think FedEx is a solid company, too, but FED is FirstFed Financial, not related to FedEx (as far as I know).

Locosurte is right, the ticker for Federal Express is FDX. Then again you haven't added to CAPS since 11/06 so I don't suspect you will ever get to read this.
