Franklin Electric Co., Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of groundwater and fuel pumping systems, electronic controls, and related parts and equipment. While this market is in significant turmoil at this time and supply/demand vs inventories will see some imbalances for the next 12 months, Franklin has ourperformed all competitors for the past 10-12 years in the more complicated component of the system. This allowed them to "own" the motor market in this application. An end user or supplier with any experience in this market will be well aware of the success and quality of Franklin in the water market as well as their success in forward integration in the gasoline pumping market. The primary difference being the depth of the well and the viscosity of the product.
