If ever there were a takeover candidate in the network security industry, this is it. Rights to the most popular open source IDS software is worth more than 140M. Almost got bought by CHKP for nearly double that, two years ago. The stock will suck in the near term, but will percolate as vultures...I mean suitors start to circle.
