I cant imagine the demand increasing for the recreational vehicle side of the business with oil and gas at record highs.Wanna fill that 100+ gallon tank?Consumer spending is down.Oh yeah,they are not even making money.

Big ticket item. Gas guzzler. Sales will continue to decline as the economy slips deeper into a recession. People will not want to spend their descretionary income on RVs.

Hopefully those who are hooked on motor homes will take advantage of the better fuel efficiency of the newer models. Also fle manufactured homes could be the answer for low cost housing. They may be needed in the flood areas… or would they just float...

Okay, so there is good news and bad news. The bad news may turn out to be good news. Fleetwood had trouble with defective homes from its CA plant. They just settled for a modest fine. But they also just won contract(s) with the Army.
