Solid company, has beaten street estimates the last several quarters including the last (June 2008). RoE of 20, net profit margin of 17%, both very respectable within the industry. Good balance sheet, little debt lots of cash. Boarder security and anti-terrorism will be important regardless of which clown is elected this coming november in the US. Also, FLIR has a large commercial sales aspect. IBD ratings of 95/95 respectively for EPS/relative price strength as well...Bought in a little early but hey, thats life.
