There is just too much upside potential. In a market economy like this, the risk is worth the reward. They may never be another buying opportunity like this in our lifetime. I bought shares in RL just under $2, and I am confident that I will be just fine short term and long term.
I agree... I bought shares of both FRE and FNM yesterday. It is worth the risk.
Lets say , I purchased 3000 shares at .70 =$2,100
Now if it should go up .30=$900 profit not bad.
3000 x$20 = $60,000 of that $2,100 investment. Worth risking:)
For example I purchased 2 homes for 107K put in another 27k into remodel in California ( nice area) and I recieve $2,200 a month rental income .. $1,350 for 1 $850 for the other home. Not a bad investment in 5.6 yrs I get 100% back on my investment an still own the home :::: not bad .
I could of kept the $$ in the bank at what 2.5% === bad investment.
$2,200 investment for a potentially immense profit..........Why not?
Awesome profit huh? hahaa
Infinite... this is the surest thing you'll ever see in your lifetime!!! Question is... do you have the patience for history to cycle? If yes, then you will be rewarded handsomely!!! If no, then you're correct, no awesome profit. Look me up in 5 years and tell my your $1000 investment isn't at least 10x. Remember, the reason history cycles is because of life cycles. Come smoke $100.00 cigar with me in 3-5 years. I'll treat with my investment income from taking 'stock' (pun intended) in the U.S. government's endeavor to keep the american dream alive for everyone (even if you don't agree with 'socialist' tendancies). Cheers!
