As a pharmacist I can tell you generic suppliers offer substantial discounts to pharmacies to use their products in preference to the Brands. Some of that is passed on to patients but a larger percent is retained by the pharmacy.





Generic companies with a large range of the more expensive popular drugs like the statins etc should do well if they continue to update their range.
