Best solar products in the world... nearly as cost effective as traditional electricity sources, but without the greenhouse gases. 20 forward P/E while growing revenue and earnings 100%/year? This is cheap.
Why go solar when there is oil, in addition to the obvious supply-demand disconnect. The emerging countries alone will drive oil price and therefore the equities. I haven't looked at solar companies, although I've heard the names. What did you determine to be their free cash flow in 2008...20009...2010.. etc? I mean they can be growing earnings by 500%, but be worthless if it has to reinvest all or nearly all of their earnings. I don't typically use multiples such as price to earnings because it says nothing about the quality of earnings, but focus on price to free cash flow and forward P/FCF. Actually I use EV/FCF to account for debt. I am only familiar with 4 industries, so I was wondering what FSLR P/FCF or EV/FCF ? Please share some of the more important valuation metrics if you get a chance i.e (return in capital, EV/FCF, DCF.. ETC)-Cheers
