Forest Oil plans to place all of its Canadian assets into a subsidiary called Lone Pine Resources. It then will have an IPO for 19.9% of Lone Pine and eventually spin-off the rest of it to current Forest shareholders. I like the move.
Also, oil is likely headed higher.
