GE has been just destroyed that past few years. It hasn't gone anywhere. All the stock did during the 90s was grow and so far come the 2000 it has flat lined. Why is this?The company does have significant dept. True.But, the company is taking its time in setting itself up in different area wind, biotech, getting back into nuclear power, fuel cells, and much more that hasn't been GEs core business. To do this requires significant money. That investment will start to pay off in the next few years.
