One of the best ways to see how an apparel retailer is fairing is to actually visit the store and do some shopping. A couple years ago I began revisiting Guess? and it was obvious to me then that it was onto something. Take a look at a 2-year performance of its stock, and it appears others agree.

The company has the right trend-right categories on-hand, an image that captivates, sound expense controls, and the rest is history -- fatter margins and bigger profits.

I expect these positve trends to continue. Guess? should outperfrom over the next 2-4 years.
