This is a gutsy call, hopefully not a foolish one. Gm has been trading on news, good or bad, and not on fundementals. The news seems to be good so far; they are cutting costs, they might have an alliance with Renalt and Nissan, but there are many problems that lie ahead. We might go to War with North Korea and Iran, which will Higher Gas prices, in turn will cause people to steer away from Gm vechiles (which will benefit TM since they are selling hybrids and small cars). They also have Huge problems on its pensions and benefits plan to its employees. I certainly see the company trade a bit higher from where it is today, which it about $30, but over the next year or so, I do not see it staying at this level.

Apparently even the possible alliance with Renault/Nissan isn't going to happen. Not that it would have helped either party very much anyway. Nissan seems to be doing pretty well on their own.
