I do not believe the "messy marriage" between MSFT and YHOO will pose any significant thread to the leadership of GOOG in the next couple of years, eventually, maybe and depends on how they execute. The recession (if any) will go away soon.

It's not that I hate Google. To the contrary, it's a great company. But the price is too high, and it's going to take years of rising earnings and slowing growth to bring the price down to a reasonable multiple.

Google is a monster. Don't underestimate it. Shorting this stock will come back to haunt you. Think blue chips 20 or 30 years ago. You buy GE or GM or walmart back then? You buy Google now.
