I know this is not a high yielding stock, but who doesn't wear Gap clothes??? Everyone I know wears Gap or Old Navy or Banana Republic, so I believe this is a consistent stock - one that will be around for a long time.
Not everyone insists on wearing clothes with a fashionable label. Or throws used clothes away while they're still fit to wear.
The short-term oriented zacks.com has a #1 ranking on this stock for now, but the valuation levels are much too high. So for now I won't enter a pick either way on this.
At $25, if I may enter an "Outperform", since it is a good bet to keep it's earnings rising for a while. But for now, zacks notwithstanding, the recent 13 week low is probably only the first of half-a-dozen or more.
"Overpriced" should count for more than "trendy", IMO.
