Growing their food service to existing housekeeping/laundry customers. Huge market with little competition. This is an animal.
Recent aquisition of Summit Services Group http://www.summitservices.com/home.htm will expand client base from roughly 1800 to 2150 long-term care centers. Summit seems to have a much more active marketing program than HCSG, which is good. Continued expansion of food service to Summit facilities excellent. Maggie Kangas joined Summit from HCSG in February 2006 to become Summits Vice President of Dining Services. Interesting.
