The Insurance Industry has been in a "down" cycle for the past 3 years which was partly triggered by weather catastrophes and exacerbated by Katrina. Hartford has been a strong performer over time for quite some time. The Insurance Market will turn "up" and Hartford’s ability to manage expenses along with the leadership of a very strong (under rated CEO) will equate into outperformance of the S&P.
