I just traveled to China on a tour. China is very activively trying to develop their travel industry. They need to create jobs for the 1 billion Chinese people that are being relocated into the cities. I believe their first pick was construction and mfg. and that the travel industry is the next big thing for them in terms of jobs not to mention the creation of 'small business' owners in China. Right now 90% of tourist in China are Chinese who have become more upwardly mobile. What will happen when the rest of the world has the same amazing travel experience I did...beautiful accomodations, personal english speaking tour guides, fabulous food, foot massages at the end of each great day of sight seeing and shopping or climbing the Great Wall. Destination spot? The tourists will need a place to stay and I think this stock will benefit.
