HON will suffer from the Boeing strike and recession. I will turn bullish when 747-8 and 787 deliveries are imminent, perhaps late 2009 or early 2010.

Strike is over and Honeywell just got a breather to catch up. Maybe now they won't have to pay the penalties associated with any delay on those contracts. In contrast to what you suggest, Boeing is always pressing Hon to make more faster for those projects.
