They are a house of cards. They have laid off the knowlegable engineers and kept many that are inept. We had an engineer that came to the plant and fixed the Honeywell system the first time. Now we have been down for 2 weeks with a parade of people coming through that don't know what they are doing. They laid off the regular guy.

So your experience with one employee is indicative of the entire company? I don't think so.

Sounds like a disgruntled employee. Bet his actual investment (if he has one) is the opposite of his call.

With a spouse who is an engineer at Honeywell, I can understand the analysis by Mark.
However, there remains a strong functional core, the business is continuing. I'm long many shares of HON and watch earnings closely.

Continue a long view, but with the appropriate monitoring.

Bravo.........Mark, pls tell me your company name also as I like to avoid investing in that where machine breaks down every now and then. Seriously, is it that HON guy can't solve the problem or ppl keep breaking their machine, which one is correct..............assignment to NCIS........lol.

I wasn't into reading bear pitch, but I felt it's humors. let's short HON and make Mark a successful investor...............booyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.............Cramerology...........from Mark.............

"Continue a long view, but with the appropriate monitoring."

Is there another way? What struck me as odd is that Mark isn't able to differentiate between a development engineer and a maintenance engineer. We also don't know how old the equipment is that keeps breaking down. It's why I take what he said with a grain of salt.

This is one division. The controls group probably isn't getting the most attention these days. All the divisions together are what counts. However, a division they are letting slide and milking for cash by cutting personnel is going to pull the whole group down as some point. I wouldn't be surprised to see them sell the division that created most of the company name if this continues and the layoffs catch up with them.

Can you cite one instance of what you're talking about. How do you know they're letting it slide? How do you know they're cutting personnel? Because Mark said so?

This is a huge conglomerate with so many branches. Marks remarks have no value to the working of the complete picture, IF at all? He sounds like a disgruntled employee as already said.
