Hewlett-Packard is doing to DEll what Dell did to them years ago. I remember way back when Dell and Gateway were the two most popular computer companies. Now. HP is in the mix. They are a gret company that is now arguably the most popular computer maker.
My desktop is an HP along with my laptop. They make great products and continue to grow both in size and sales.

Hello WiiPlayr,

Thank goodness those days are gone! The last time I checked Dell, Acer, and Lenovo is right behind Hewlett Packard.
Almost a year ago ACER bought Gateway/eMachines plus a large European computer company through Gateway, thus making ACER #3 computer manufacturer in the world!!!

I disagree Hewlett Packard will continue to grow in size and sales when fierce competition in the notebook, laptop, desktop, computer accessories, and etc. is at the all time high. I strongly suggest you re-evaluate your position on HPQ.

Finally, I just can't wait till Gateway and eMachines make their line-up debut. Other companies worth noting ASUS and AVERATEC.
