IBM hasn’t been able to substantially grow the top line in years. Earning growth in recent years is coming from cost cutting, share buy backs, boot strapping software acquisitions and, now, financial restructuring. The challenge with all these acti...

IBM has stagnated for about a year or so. The sale of PC business to Lenovo confused the top line picture superficially. The management is focussed on its service revenues and building high visibility. A solid company and a safe harbor in tough times...

I think this stock way undervalued. They are big into services and that is where the money is and will be for a long time.

IBM is a big ship, but it is fairly beaten down and should provide solid 10 - 12% returns (Div. included) for the next few years.

Providing solutions for Wii, Xbox360 and PS3,masterising the Cell technology, they might release extremely powerfull server chips soon. I think IBM is looking good in the future. Current P/E of 16, not too expensive.

Tech is the future forever! Well it seems that way anyway. Leaders will have the capital to invest and have a huge jumpstart if they can keep acquiring the competition and new start ups.
