bought it in my real portfolio based on initial recommendation from another CAPs player who knows management. My DD showed a clean company and a number of top 100 CAPs players have this as a green thumb....





The pick goes outside my investment philosophy somewhat of buying hot industries on pullbacks, but since its in my real portfolio now I decided to also put it out on CAPs so I can track it against the SPY

How do you think this will perform with consumer confidence so low? According to their latest 10-Q "Demand for the Company’s products and services tends to be driven by overall economic factors and, particularly, consumer spending." They missed their last two quarters earnings reports. I do like the fundamentals very much, but I don't see them increasing their margins and net income with these economic conditions.

low consumer confidence didn't seem to effect retail sales today..... at the end of the day my system is based on industry investing, with top fool green/red thumb ratio and technical pullbacks.... this stock is in the chemicals plastics industry which hasnt seen the top 10 industry ranking since sept 2006.... obviously their input costs have sky'd....

my basis for this pick is strictly top fools and technicals... the fact that a fellow top fool highly recommends it and knows the executive team is a huge factor....... although I don't personally know top executives at the major builders i know people who do and what is talked about over drinks is a different spin than what is said in a 10Q....... so I put a lot of weight on this type of information
