Man, I am such a geek.

Anyway, I think Intel has taken a striding lead over AMD for the time being. (This is coming from a hardcore AMD fan) Intel's products, at this moment, are simply better in my opinion. Also, I think the AMD merger with ATI may have taken a tole on AMD's ability to keep up with Intel over the past few months and I think this might continue for a little while longer. We have seen the leadership of this race go back and forth several times over the past years and it probably will happen again, however, I think Intel may be able to extend its time at the helm this time given the way the dice have fallen with the merger.

I am going outperform for Intel. However, in terms of length I really can't tell. This industry is one where technological changes are king. If AMD comes out with something bigger, badder, better than I may have to jump ship. I don't see anything like that though... So I'll go ahead and give the Green Thumb to Intel.
