Integrated Silicon Solutions was selected from a value screen I use that looks for low forward p/e's, high ROEs, low price book and reasonable price trends. The screen typically outperforms by a wide margin and does best in up markets. ISSI happens to be a highly solvent, cash rich tech company that is experiencing positive earnings trends.
what screen do you use? I like all the screening criteria you use, but it's hard to perform this screen without some kind of tool. I'd be curious to hear what you use.
I use the Research Wizard from Zacks. It is very sophisticated compared to other stuff available for individual investors- and it is easy to use. The cost is significant and varies depending on how much backtesting you want to do.
