Gartner is well positioned for growth as the global economy continues to invest in technology. Even as the US economy festers, Gartner is insulated due to its global presence. It combination of research, consulting, and conferences provides a strong blend of revenue.

A cautionary signal would be the tightening of IT spending across the global economy. If this starts to happen and gains momentum, then Gartner's research and conference revenue will start to be impacted.
