Growth ETF with low expenses. Growth companies can outshine in a recession. It is good to blend this with a Large Cap ETF too. The big companies will buy out the small ones eventually so someone has got to be a winner/loser - in the end you are just left with market growth rate.
Hey! I'm with you, I see growth funds as like a guaranteed rate of return of at least 8% over the long term. Which is better than any bond fund. But as you say, Growth funds mixed with large cap typically just give you the market growth rate, and aren't we here to beat the market? So in conclusion, investing in this fund is a no-brainer for long term investors, but why not try to mix it with some crazy small-cap funds and/or developing markets to try to beat the S&P?
